Workshop on GenAI & AI

The IEM-UEM GenAI Centre of Excellence successfully organized an insightful Workshop on GenAI & AI on 12th December 2025 at the 15th Floor, Godrej Genesis. The session featured distinguished speakers Joy Mustafi (Ex-Microsoft & Salesforce) and Dr. Sruti Das Choudhury (University of Nebraska–Lincoln, USA), who brought together industry and research perspectives on the evolving AI landscape. Participants gained valuable insights into Agentic GenAI, exploring how autonomous AI agents are built, deployed, and evaluated in real-world industry settings, alongside discussions on Modern Computer Vision and Trustworthy AI in multidisciplinary research. The event also included an engaging knowledge-based quiz, where the top three performers were rewarded with exciting prizes and certificates, adding an interactive and competitive edge to the learning experience. Overall, the workshop was a resounding success, reinforcing IEM’s commitment to bridging academia and industry while empowering learners with future-ready AI knowledge.
